VTG and BLG singed framework agreement for car transports by rail

DSC_0525VTG Rail Logistics has signed a framework agreement with BLG AutoRail GmbH for car transports by rail. Since December 2014, VTG Rail Logistics has been transporting new Hyundai cars for BLG AutoRail between the Czech Republic and Zeebrugge in Belgium.
“These transports were introduced in December 2014, starting with a regular, weekly train service from the Hyundai plant in Nošovice in the Czech Republic to the P&O car terminal in Zeebrugge in Belgium. Three trains a week are now running, each carrying 228 newbuild cars, in 19 BLG bilevel car transporter wagons. Depending on requirements and frequency of production, another train per week will be added to this regular service as needed,” Günther J. Ferk, managing director of VTG Rail Logistics, said.
Previously, BLG AutoRail had also mainly used the railway for its Hyundai transports.
VTG and BLG are planning to expand their joint business operations. Plans are currently being drawn up for further transports.
