Vossloh acquires ETS Spoor

ETS Spoor On July 26, 2021, Vossloh has signed an agreement to acquire the Dutch company ETS Spoor with the transaction expected to be completed on July 30. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.

In 2020, ETS generated sales of around EUR 20 million and will be managed in the Lifecycle Solutions division in the future.

ETS Spoor is currently a leading provider in the technologically sophisticated and highly innovative Dutch market for rail infrastructure components and services. The company has close links with all of the major clients in the region and has a number of well – established business relationships with several partners, including Vossloh.

The company has exclusive distribution agreements in place with providers of products and services which Vossloh does not offer. These will round out Vossloh’s regional portfolio in the sense of a one-stop shop. This aspect, for instance, is of decisive importance with regard to future-oriented service models.

ETS Spoor BV has been a supplier of products and services in the railway sector since 1999. The team of inspired and committed employees has many years of experience in developing and delivering innovative, sustainable systems for train, tram, metro and industrial tracks.

The company is providing superstructure materials, products and solution for the reduction of noise and vibration as well as measurement solutions. The Dutch company is also providing switches and switch parts and is the exclusive supplier of Vossloh Switch Systems (formerly Cogifer).

One of the latest projects ETS is involved covers the supply the superstructure materials for the Theemsweg route at the Port of Rotterdam, on behalf of VolkerRail.
