Oktyabrsky Electric Railway Car Repair Plant (OEVRZ, a Transmashholding company) and Peterburgsky Metropoliten signed the contract for the delivery of 160 metro carriages.
Until 2020 Peterburgsky Metropoliten will be delivered 20 eight-carriage trains fitted with asynchronous traction drives.
In June 2015 during the Saint-Petersburg Economic Forum, Saint-Petersburg Governor Georgy Poltavchenko and Transmashholding’s President Andrey Bokarev signed the Agreement on Coopeгation in Improvement of Northern Capital’s Infrastructure.
