ScotRail has launched a new scheme which will allow passengers using Loganair’s, internal Scottish air network, to connect via rail to anywhere in Scotland for a flat fare of £20.
The pilot scheme offers passengers travelling to or from a flight on Flybe’s intra-Scotland network, operated by Loganair, a fixed-rate £20 (£10 child ticket) single journey on any ScotRail-operated service.
Passengers will be able to purchase the add-on ticket at any manned station booking office, or on-train upon presentation of a valid flight boarding pass and photo ID.
The pilot will run for one year until March 2017. ScotRail will monitor and review sales data and uptake over the period.
