Swiss railway operator SBB is due to offer WLAN to its passengers on the new Giruno trains through the Gotthard Tunnel and from Geneva to Italy from 2019, inside-it.ch reports. SBB will start upgrading its fleet next year. Technical details are yet to be determined. Currently, only foreign trains such as Deutsche Bahn’s ICE, SCNF’s TGV Lyria and the Austrian Railjet offer WLAN.
