SBB improves passenger information

elvetia_sbbAfter the introduction of the new timetable in December 2014, SBB will cut the payment service for the  delivery of the train timetable via SMS to passengers. In turn, the company will consolidate the free offers for the presentation of the internet timetables through its mobile phone application. Passengers will receive extended real-time information regarding the train timetable, current delays, routes and links via both the internet and their mobile phones. Until the end of the year, SBB will also improve the “push” service through which passengers could receive an alert in case the connection they use daily is delayed.
