Federal Freight Company (FGK) is to become an independent operator again, according to the “Kommersant”. For this, RZD would return 91,000 freight cars to FGK.
As the freight cars are returned to FGK, it expects to attract cars from other operators. FGK is in negotiations with a dozen of operators, including UVZ-Logistics. The latter company has already requested an approval for such operating model from the Federal Antimonopoly Service.
