Moscow: Work to start on all sites of the metro’s third interchange circuit by the year-end

moscow metro mapDeputy Mayor for Urban Development and Construction Marat Khusnullin said that the main task of the city authorities before the end of 2014 is to start work in all sites of the Second Metro Circle (the Third Interchange Circuit).
At present, the Shelepikha metro station is being built as part the construction of the first section of the Third Interchange Circuit (TIC): Nizhnyaya Maslovka — Khoroshovskaya — Delovoy Tsentr. The total length of this line is 12.2 kilometres. It will have six stations: Nizhnyaya Maslovka, Petrovsky Park, Khodynskoye Polye, Khoroshovskaya, Shelepikha and Delovoy Tsentr.
Marat Khusnullin said earlier that work has started in Moscow on the construction of the metro at 350 sites. The total length of metro lines under construction in the capital is about 120 kilometres.
