Hitachi Rail Italy to supply trains for Trenitalia

The train, built by Hitachi Rail Italy, is called Caravaggio and will become the flagship of the new Italian regional train fleet. “With Caravaggio we transport the future into the present, presenting a product that is unique in its category and that sets Hitachi apart from its competitors,” said Maurizio Manfellotto, CEO of Hitachi Rail Italy.
