As part of the strategic development project, the Port of Marseille (Fos) will optimise connection between the eastern and the western basins by introducing a railway shuttle as of 11 May 2015. The daily direct connection will enable freight transport between container terminals. The service will be operated by Railliner (Eurorail / Regiorail group) and will also provide connection between the two basins and CLESUD combined transport terminal.
