Budamar Logistics enters the Balkan railway market

slovak siemensUnder its development strategy, the Slovak company Budamar Logistics plans to expand into the Balkans.
Within the Budamar South project, in June 2016, Budamar Logistics implemented two projects. One involves the shares acquisition in the Croatian private rail freight operator PPD Transport, and the second, Budamar has become a co-owner in the logistics company Smart Cargo SK.
Budamar Logistics launched, in June 2016, the Budamar South project, focusing on acquiring a market position in Balkan countries, especially Croatia or Serbia. “Budamar South should cooperate with major industrial enterprises operating in southern Europe and provide them with complete logistic services. Railway transport will also connects Baltic seaports to those in the Balkans,” Budamar Logistics Chairman of the Board, Peter Malec said.
Budamar Logistics offers a range of transport service, including railway freight transport on the Eurasian railways. The company cooperates with Železničná spoločnosť Cargo Slovakia, the own railway carrier LOKORAIL and international transport operators to offer full range of services.
