Transport Minister Yisrael Katz announced that according to the financial considerations of the Ministry of Finance, that the Tel Aviv light rail project will proceed as planned.
„I share the view that we need check some of the issues in a rigorous and careful manner,” the Minister explained, adding, „and what will be determined, I will accept.”
Recently, on February 6, Israel Treasury announced that they will freeze Tel Aviv light rail tenders due to high costs.
