Den Haag Centraal opened

Den-Haag-Centraal-ProRail-1024x683ProRail opened the newly-completed Den Haag Centraal, the largest railway station in Hague. The modernised station’s capacity is 270,000 passengers daily. Major refurbishment of the station began in 2011, making it spacious being one of the main goal of the project.
The project involved architects Ben van Berkel, Koen van Velzen and the firm Benthem Crouwel Architects. Among the goals of the project included making it feel spacious, bright and uncluttered, making use of a glass roof the size of two football fields, ProRail said in a statement.
Den Haag Centraal station is now a modern transport hub that brings all transport modes into one terminal.
