CRRC unveiled its CJ2 electric multiple unit which has also obtained a manufacturing license. The CJ2 EMU has been developed based on company’s 350km/h EMU platform which is using proven manufacturing technologies and adopting advanced traction and brake system.
The train is 8-car train is designed for speeds of 250km/h, featuring fast start acceleration, short braking distances and allows easy boarding and alighting.
Relying on advanced technologies, the new EMU is expected to be the preferred train for intercity and inter-urban transport services, CRRC says.
