Having received support from local authorities and investors we realized that it was a right decision. St. Petersburg is an engineering center with extensive qualified human resources,” Vladimir Rutkas, President – Knorr-Bremse CIS Holding, said.
Knorr-Bremse 1520 will most likely receive orders from RZD to supply braking systems for 1200 Lastochka (Desiro RUS) coaches and for other locomotives, multiple units and passenger coaches, according to RZD Senior Vice President Valentin Gapanovich.
