Aeroexpress carried 105 million passengers in 10 years of operation

AeroexpressIn the last 10 years, Aeroexpress has carried over 105 million passengers. During the first ten years of operation, the company managed to bring passenger transport services in Russia to a new level of quality, right up there with European standards.
2014 was one of the most important years in the company’s development with over 19.7 million passengers transported. Since putting the first train into operation, Aeroexpress has carried over 100 million people, including passengers travelling along the Lobnya suburban route. Based on the results of 2014, the company’s share of the intermodal transport market of the Moscow Air Cluster (MAC) is 21.65%. In addition, Aeroexpress ordered the first double-deck train in Russia, which was constructed especially for the Moscow carrier by the Swiss company Stadler, and demonstrated it to media representatives.
The company has been regularly introducing new services, thus improving its service quality and travel safety. “From the very beginning, we have been setting rather ambitious goals for ourselves. Nonetheless, we have succeeded in implementing most of them. For ten years, we have helped to mitigate the traffic load on Moscow highways and have grown to become a successful and recognizable brand. It is also worth mentioning that, during these years, Aeroexpress has become an integral part of the Moscow transport chain”, says Alexey Krivoruchko, Aeroexpress’ CEO.
