Ultra Teknoloji was awarded the tender for Bursa’s 8.5 km long new tram line project. Ultra Teknoloji submitted the second best offer in the tender with TL 133.8 million (EUR 39.2 million). The first offer submitted belonged to KMN Insaat with TL 133 million (EUR 39 million).The construction is expected to start within 15 days after signing of contract and is planned to be completed by the end of 2017.
The tramway line will be 8.5 km long. The line line will have 11 stations, each of them being 60 mt long.
Bursa city also plans to introduce modern rolling stock and after a tender held this year the Metropolitan Municipality in Bursa and Durmazlar signed the contract for the supply of new 60 LRVs and 12 trams.
