The last two contracts awarded under Grand Paris Express Line 15 South

Société du Grand Paris awarded the last two contracts on the Line 15 South as part of Grand Paris Express project. The total value of the contracts is EUR 669 million.
The Bouygues Travaux Publics consortium was awarded a EUR 513 million contract for the civil engineering works on l’île-de- Monsieur (Sèvres) and Fort d’Issy –Vanves –Clamart station. the contract involves the construction of a 4 km tunnel, Pont-de-Sèvres and Issy RER stations, works on steel structure, and additional needed works. The Bouygues consortium is formed together with Soletanche Bachy France, Soletanche Bachy Tunnels, Bessac, Sade.
For the realisation of civil engineering works on Noisy –Champs station, a carriage storage area, and a road bridge over the RER A regional express line tracks, VINCI Construction France consortium won a EUR 156 million contract. The consortium is formed by Dodin Campenon Bernard, Spie Batignolles TPCI, Botte Fondations, Spie Fondations and VINCI Construction Grands Projets.
In total, there are 8 contracts awarded for the whole 33 km-long Line 15 South, between Pont-de-Sevres and Noisy-Champs, with a total value of EUR 3.7 billion.
By the end of the year, 41 of building sites will be launched for the implementation of the project.
“Since the beginning of the year, the project is a success. In March, it was declared to be a public interest project and today the Line 15 South project is fully committed,” Philippe Yvin, the CEO of Société du Grand Paris said.
We remind that in May, the European Investment Bank (EIB) announced that will evaluate the project on the construction of Paris’ driverless metro Line 15 on Pont de Sèvres – Noisy Champs section in length of 33 km. The evaluation includes the construction of 16 stations and 2 maintenance depots.
