Taiwan: high speed rail stations to open by year-end

05-taiwanThree new stations on Taiwan’s high-speed rail line are expected to be opened on 1 December, the country’s Ministry of Transportation and Communications announced. The three stations located in Miaoli, Changhua and Yunlin counties will soon undergo on-site inspections with this purpose, for which the Bureau of High Speed Rail has already received an application. The Bureau of High Speed Rail will begin to review written materials and arrange for a two-day inspection visit in early October.
Once the three new stations begin operations, there will be seven different train schedules.
