Siemens Mobility has launched MoComp initiative, a consolidated and single source that will for the first-time display and make available to all customers the diverse Siemens Mobility portfolio of rail vehicle components.
“Our many years of experience with trains and locomotives gives us the ability to offer the rail industry a comprehensive portfolio of components and systems. This portfolio is specifically developed for the needs of the industry from the perspective of a vehicle manufacturer,” Albrecht Neumann, CEO Rolling Stock at Siemens Mobility said.
MoComp will offer the complete range of electrical and mechanical components, and system solutions for modern rail vehicles. This includes pantographs and traction converters, propulsion systems, bogies and brake systems, and onboard power supplies. The offerings showcased by MoComp will provide rolling stock producers, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), and operators the opportunity to take advantage of the very best products on the market, as they look to maintain their rail vehicles over the entire life cycle.
