Serbia seeks consultancy services for railway projects

Serbian Railways Infrastructure has launched a tender for the purchase of construction supervision services for railway infrastructure projects.
The assignment is expected to start in November of 2018, and last about 32 months, which includes 1 month for pre-commencement activities, 15 months of works supervision, 12 months covering defects liability period and 4 months for Performance Certificate issue and other closing activities.
The consultancy services are targeting the rehabilitation of Strazevica Tunnel (entry) –Jajinci–Mala Krsna of (Belgrade) Rakovica – Junction K1 – Jajinci – Mala Krsna – Velika Plana railway line and the improvement of electrotechnical infrastructure on Stara Pazova – Šid, resnik – Lapovo and Mala Krsna –Velika Plana railway section, as well as at Belgrade node.
To successfully implement the assignment, it is envisaged that the consultant’s team will consist of one team leader/engineer, two civil engineers, two electrical engineers and one claims / FIDIC expert.
The contract will be financed from the EBRD’s loan and consulting firms from any countries are eligible for shortlisting and selection.
