ÖBB expands internet service to more railway stations

OBB-wifi_CF034944-651x400Austrian railway operator ÖBB is rolling out WLAN access to more stations following a successful trial at the Hauptbahnhof, Westbahnhof and Neustadt Hbf stations in Vienna. The free WLAN service is now available at 11 other stations and will be rolled out across 30 stations by end-2016. The pilot project at the three stations registered almost one million users. ÖBB is investing around EUR 3.5 million in the project.
