More than EUR 720 million for rail projects in Lublin region

pkp-plkPKP Polish Railways Lines (PKP PLK) announced that will invest PLN 3.2 billion (EUR 726.6 million) in Lublin region, that involves 8 projects, as part of the National Railway strategy.
One of the most important project envisages the modernisation of Warsaw-Lublin line (Line No. 7) on a 170 km line section.
Under the project, Lublin – Stalowa Wola Rozwadów rail section will be electrified, there will be constructed railway sidings in Rejowiec and Zawada.
The railway strategy in Lublin province provides a list of 8 basic rail projects and the “reserve list” includes 6 new projects. In total, there are 14 projects estimated at PLN 4 billion (EUR 908 million).
