The public transport company of Łódź, MPK – Łódź Spółka, intends to invest PLN 150 million (EUR 35 million) for the acquisition of 12 new low-floor trams and 17 electric buses.
Within the next two- three years the new trams will be put into operation.
This year, the company has put into commercial service the new Swing trams from Pesa. For this contract, MPK – Łódź and Pesa signed in December 2014 the contract on the acquisition of 22 new trams.
