Eu co-financing for Riga port and Riga City TEN-T integration projects

rigaLatvia’s Central Finance and Contracting Agency (CFCA) has sent an invitation to Riga Municipality to prepare and submit to the European Union funds for the project application of Riga port and Riga City for the integration of the TEN-T network. More than EUR 46 million from the Cohesion Fund are available to the project.
The total eligible financing is EUR 54.6 million, including EUR 46.4 million from the Cohesion Fund and at least EUR 8.2 million from the Riga city local government.
The purpose of the project will be to create alternative routes for transit and cargo transport in Riga that would be separated from local traffic and provided a link to the TEN-T.
The selection of project proposals for the submission of projects takes place from this year 3 June to 3 August.
