Croatia and Spain agree on Mediterranean Corridor development

Croatian rail infrastructure manager HZ Infrastruktura has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Spanish rail infrastructure manager ADIF for the development of the Mediterranean Corridor. The Mediterranean Corridor crosses six EU countries – Spain, France, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia and Hungary.
Cooperation has also been agreed in sectoral planning, the implementation of the European Rail Traffic Management System (ERTMS), the development of inter-modal transport, and the development of freight terminals and logistics. It includes planning, designing, construction and maintenance of energy, signaling and telecom rail systems.
