Metrolinx has purchased a segment of Canadian National Railway Company’s rail line principally used by GO Transit commuter trains in the Georgetown-Kitchener area west of Toronto, Ont., for USD 76 Million (EUR 60 Million).
Metrolinx is Ontario’s regional transportation agency for the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA). GO Transit, a division of Metrolinx, is Ontario’s interregional public transit system linking Toronto and the surrounding regions.
