Canada invests in British Columbia public tranzit projects

skytrainGovernment of Canada, British Columbia, and municipalities will invest CAD 900 million (USD 620 million) in public transit projects across the province.
For this investment, the involved authorities have signed an investment agreement that will be used to expand bus lanes, to purchase new rolling stock for SkyTrain and to construct new light rail lines.
For these projects, the Government of Canada will provide USD 317 million and Province of British, USD 212 million.
