Exports of Brazilian iron ore to China in the first eight months of the year were up 10.8% to 111Mt. Iron ore export revenue for January-August totaled USD 8.40bn, down 7.44%.
Brazil’s pellet shipments to China slumped 53.1% to 1.69Mt in the period, with revenues down 53.1% to USD 232mn.
Total Brazilian exports to China reached USD 31.7bn in January-August, a 0.26% decrease year-on-year.
