The project potential is high, and now all the necessary infrastructure is being prepared to meet the targeted freight volumes,” Askar Mamin, president of Kazakhstan Railways, said when attending the meeting of the Organizing Committee for the Silk Wind project of container transportation from China to Europe.
He added that according to estimates, Azerbaijan Railways will receive additional income of approximately USD600-USD700 million by 2020 only at the expense of transit.
