Atir Rail orders more railcars from Djuro Djakovic

Croatian group Djuro Djakovic’s special vehicles unit has entered a deal to supply additional rail tank wagons of Zacns series to France’s Atir Rail. The four-axle tank wagons of Zacns series are designed to transport hazardous liquids. The value of the order is 45 million kuna (EUR 6 million). The number of additional railcars was not disclosed. The delivery will be completed in the second quarter of 2018 and adds to a previous contract with the French company.
In October 2016, Djuro Djakovic said it signed a 54 million kuna (EUR 7.2 million) deal to build and deliver an unspecified number of Zacns rail tank wagons to an unnamed French client. In January, February and March last year, it announced that Atir Rail, an independent company specialized in the management and the rental of railcars, has increased its purchase order.
