The metro trains are Metropolis ordered to Alstom through FrotaPoa’s consortium in 2012. They are circulating on the line 1 since 2014. The maintenance will enable to enhance the reliability, safety and operational availability of the metro.
Under this new contract, a team of technicians and engineers from Alstom will be based in the Trensurb workshop. Preventive maintenance activities, consisting of quality checks and maintaining train security, will be performed daily. The maintenance will be performed according to a plan developed by Alstom, with a definition of frequency for each intervention (eg, review every 10 000km, 50 000km, etc.) and activities to be carried out (eg, replacement of oil, filter, etc.).
