The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FTC) Muhammad Belo has announced that the Abuja Light Rail project, connecting Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, will be operational in December 2017. The announcement was made at the inauguration of the Abuja-Kaduna modernisation rail project.
The Abuja Light Rail project, which has been conceived in six lots, and currently is under phase one, is 77% complete and we hope to be here in December 2017 to launch the entire project,” The Minister said.
