SNCF loses over EUR 300m because of strikes

SNCFThe successive strikes of French railway company SNCF’s employees, which have lasted over the past week, have caused losses of 20 million euros a day to the company. This amouts to around EUR 300 million since the beginning of the strikes.
The losses includ the value of refunded tickets for people who cannot travel because of the strikes, as well as tickets which were not sold, according to a spokesperson for SNCF.
