Swiss railway operator SBB brought out a car parking application in mid-September, according to inside-it.ch. SBB has been testing an app developed by the company Park It over the past few months, it said. The P+Rail app for Android and iOS will enable users to pay for their parking space by smartphone one day at a time and to extend their parking time. SBB plans to phase it in gradually nationwide. Initially, it will be available at more than 140 sites in the east of the country.
