Perth plans to expand the transport network

Perth Stadium railway station_1424337653_19feb15-perth-stadium-stationWestern Australia’s Transport Minister, Mr Dean Nalder, announced on July 29 a plan to ensure Perth’s transport network grows in order to cater for the increased population of 3.5 million. The plan has been developed over two years and the changes are planned for the central metropolitan area. The plans include a Stirling-Murdoch orbital rail line and a light rail line to provide an inner orbital link.
