Matisa’s tampers and ballast regulators at iaf

At the 27th International exhibition for Track Technology in Münster, Matisa has exhibited its B66C, B66U  and  B35C tamping machines and R21C  and  R20E ballast regulators
The B66UC is a high-performance universal continuous action tamping machine designed for normal and high-speed lines. In addition to the plain line, it can handle the heaviest switches and crossings, especially those with concrete sleepers. The B 66 U is a universal tamping machine primarily designed for handling switches and crossings. The B 66 U is fitted with the same tools as the B 66 UC.
The B35C is a universal single head tamping machine used on normal lines. Supported by a carrying axle and a motorised bogie, this machine has two cabins fitted with working and driving posts as well as a power unit driven by a Scania or, on request, by a Caterpillar engine.
The R 21 ballast regulator is very easy to operate and is bidirectional. It can be used on both plain lines and switches work sites.
The R 20 E is a compact and economic ballast regulator with high efficiency, designed for plain line work. The machine is particularly suitable for narrow gauge networks or for networks with limited axle load, but is also comfortable on the standard gauge networks. The independent running mode speed is 80 km/h.
