Far East Land Bridge expands to Italy

felbFar East Land Bridge Ltd has announced that it will open its new operating office, in Milano. The project is part of FELB’s strategy to develop the railway connection between Asia and Italy, offering a reliable connection to/from Asia (China, S. Korea and Japan) using the own container fleet for cargo to/from Russia, Kazakhstan and other CIS/STAN countries. Furthermore, the project will ensure a wide service portfolio primary based on railway services.
The first containers from Milano to China has been already successfully transported with a transit time of <20 days and a weekly service is available on Milano – China – CIS route.
For the improvement of the WB connection, FELB is working also for a direct railing option which links the Małaszewicze / Brest border and Milano in less than 2 days.
Currently, FELB covers the traffic flows to and from China based on a rail / truck combination with a transit time of less than 18 days.
