Rail Cargo expands connections with Turkey

Rail Cargo Operator will increase the return service Sopron-Halkali (Turkey) which currently runs four times each week, with all traction supplied in-house as far as the Turkish border, through the carrier services of the Rail Cargo Group. This service will be expanded to five round trips per week in May and to six round trips in September. Furthermore, additional services to meet the market requirements are being planned between European economic centres and Turkey.
With a transit time of 85 hours and a target of wholly in-house management between Sopron and Kapikule, the customers benefit from consistently high quality across the entire transport route. The service has optimum links to the European intermodal network. In addition, other high-frequency connections to the most important economic centres in Europe, with a focus on the Ruhr district, are available via the RCO Terminal BILK (Budapest).
