Adif has launched a tender for the management and shunting and operation services at Sagunto freight terminal in Valencia. April 6 is the deadline for the submission of the offers.
EUR 3.2 million is the minimum bid amount with a contract duration for six years, with a possibility of a three-year extension period.
The contract aims to offer an optimal level of quality of shunting services for different railway operators that use the existing facilities. The contract also includes the provision of shunting services and operations associated with the training classification and distribution activities of trains and wagons within the terminal facilities.
The tender is part of the development of the management models that Adif has been carrying out, enabling the active participation of the different actors involved in the logistics chain.
