Serbia launched EMUs modernisation tender

Serbian rail passenger operator “Srbija Voz” has launched the tender for the overhaul and modernization of 5 EMUs Series 412/416. The tenders shall be submitted on July 25, 2017, when they will be opened. For the project, the company will use a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
The location and place of takeover of 3 EMUs is Zemun Depot and the rest of the vehicles are located at Vršac.
Under the criteria of the tender, the average annual turnover of the prime supplier must be over the last five years in the amount which is, at a minimum, equivalent to EUR 2.6 million. In the case of a joint venture of several companies, for the same LOT, each partner shall fulfill a minimum 20% of the required average annual turnover, and the leading partner shall fulfill a minimum 60% of the required average annual turnover. In addition, the tenderer shall demonstrate that it has access to, or has available liquid assets, unencumbered real assets, lines of credit, and other financial means sufficient to meet the production cash flow for the contract estimated as not less than EUR 2.8 million equivalent, taking into account the Tenderer’s commitments for other Contracts.
All tenders must be accompanied by a tender security in the amount of EUR 70,000.
