Romberg-Sears-RZDstroy GmbH, a joint venture between RZD Stroy, a subsidiary of JSC Russian Railways, and the Swiss-Austrian holding company Romberg-Sears, has conducted a technical audit of a railway project on the island of Kalimantan in the Republic of Indonesia.
An agreement to commence the technical audit was signed on 17 October 2014.
The remit of the technical audit includes an assessment of the source data used for preparing the technical design specifications for the railway line and associated infrastructure. This work will provide a clear understanding of the project’s possibilities under the existing conditions and an assessment of the possible risks.
