Queensland’s Government announced an expression of interest for the second stage of Gold Coast light rail network and the authorities estimate that the project will be completed until 2018.
The new 7.3 km line will link Gold Coast University Hospital with Helensvale rail station, the fasted and cheaper route that was selected instead the alternative route via Olsen Avenue.
The closing date for expressions of interest is August 28 and construction is expected to take two years.
