Italian high speed train operator Nuovo Trasporto Viaggi (NTV) could be listed in 2018, according to Luca Cordero Montezemolo, NTV’s chairman, quoted by the Italian press. Luca Cordero Montezemolo doesn’t rule out an IPO next year. NTV has attracted interest from funds. Peninsula Capital has recently bought a minority stake in the company. The 13% stake was aquired by Peninsula Capital based on an enterprise value for NTV of EUR 1.2 billion. The stake was acquired on a pro quota basis from NTV’s existing shareholders.
