Pennsylvania introduces new fare options on Airport Line

The Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) will introduce from 17 April a new way to pay for travel on the Airport Regional Rail Line. Passengers on this line will be able to purchase “Quick Trips” at SEPTA fare kiosks located at each terminal stop, for travel between the Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) and anywhere on the SEPTA Rail system.
Additionally, from 3 April, passengers traveling from PHL have the option to pay with a mobile ticket through a pilot partnership with Mozio, an airport ground transportation search engine with global reach. During the six-month pilot, SEPTA will test the potential of growing a new business and leisure travel market by highlighting the Airport Line as a ground transportation option when visitors to Philadelphia book their flights and hotels.
Together, the SEPTA Key Quick Trip and Mozio’s mobile ticketing platform will give PHL travelers convenient options to choose the Airport Line to connect to their final destination.
