New container train route between Belarus and China

A container train is expected to arrive on June 21 at Belintertrans terminal in Kolyadichy, which left Chinese city of Shijiazhuang (the administrative center of Hebei province) on June 2. The company intends to launch a regular train service (three or four times a month) on the new route and twice a month, in the opposite direction.
The new rail transport service is organized by Belintertrans, Rail Cargo Logistics-RUS and Hebei Taitong Logistics Co.
Kolyadichy- Shijiazhuang is the first and new containter train route used to transport goods from China to Belarus, crossing Manzhouli checkpoint in Inner Mongolia at the Chinese-Russian border before arriving in Minsk.
The train should cover the 9,500-km distance within 19 days. Belintertrans intends to develop its international rail and freight forwarding services, boosting China-Belarus-China transit opportunities.
Shijiazhuang city is one of the important shopping centers in North China. The opening of a new route within the framework of China – Belarus rail transport will contribute to the strengthening trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and China.
