The frameworks cover an extensive programme of enhancements and renewals to the London North Western and East Midlands routes over the next five years.
The nine suppliers are: Amalgamated Construction Limited, Amey, Buckingham Group Contracting Limited, Carillion Construction Limited, J Murphy & Sons Limited, Miller Construction (UK) Limited, Skanska Construction UK Limited, Story Contracting Limited, VolkerRail Limited.
The work delivered under the frameworks represents a significant portion of the £38bn (EUR 48bn) we’ll invest during Control Period 5 (2014-2019) on running, maintaining and improving Britain’s railway.
