Moscow to open the largest BCL section in 2021

In 2021, Moscow will open a new section of the Big Circle Line (BCL), the largest of the line, linking Nekrasovska and Rasskazovka stations. The route includes the Nekrasovskaya Line, currently under construction, and the Solntsevskaya Line.
“The new route will connect several sections of the Big Circle Line (BCL), the Nekrasovskaya Line, which is currently under construction, and the newly launched Solntsevskaya Line, providing transit from the Troitsky and Novomoskovsky administrative areas to the southeast and the north via the city centre,” Marat Khusnullin, the Deputy Moscow Mayor for Urban Development and Construction said.
The new metro sections will give passengers a new route, from Rasskazovka on the Kalininsko-Solntsevskaya Line to Nekrasovka station, first by taking the northern semi-circuit of the BCL and then using by the pink line after Nizhegorodskaya station to reach Nekrasovka station.
In February, Moscow has opened the first section of the Big Circle Line, between Petrovsky Park and Delovoi Tsentr stations. The section carried more than 7.5 million people.
The Big Circle Line will extend over about 70 km, with 31 stations. There are plans to complete the construction in 2023.
