More rail links between Poland and Ukraine

Ukraine’s Minister of Infrastructure, Volodymyr Omelyan, and his Polish counterpart, Andrzej Adamczyk, agreed to establish a working group for the expansion of the railway connection between Ukraine and Poland.
The Ukrainian part confirmed that is working on two rail projects which envisage the restoration of the railway connection on Przemysl-Malchovice-Nizhankovichi route and the establishment of regular passenger rail connection between Lviv and Lublin.
“Direct rail connection between Ukraine and Poland, launched in 2016, is an example of the successful implementation of Ukrainian-Polish projects. Now, both countries are actively working on the expansion of the rail connection between Ukraine and Poland. I am grateful to Poland for its active position on this issue and for the full support of the initiative,” Volodymyr Omelyan said during the meeting.
