Montenegro Railways: emergency infrastructure rehabilitation

belgrade-bar railThe Montenegro Railway Infrastructure Company (ZICG) intends using the proceeds of a loan from the EBRD for a project to undertake emergency rehabilitation of the railway infrastructure. The initial project, which had a total estimated cost of EUR 17 million equivalent has been completed; an extension of the project, which has a total estimated cost of EUR 10 million equivalent will now require the procurement of civil works on Belgrade – Bar Railway line for rehabilitation of tracks; rehabilitation of tunnels; hydro-technical works, and consultancy services for the design of tunnels rehabilitation.
Tendering for the contracts is expected to continue in the first quarter of 2015.
EBRD puslished the announcement as an update to the General Procurement Notice first published on 19 December 2007 with a last update on 18 November 2013.
